Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, is glad to announce that the newly built ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಯುವ ಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿವೇಕ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ (Swami Vivekananda Cultural Youth Centre – Viveka Smaraka) is scheduled to be inaugurated on the 1st of August 2026 by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi ji, in the Holy presence and with the blessings of parama-pujya Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj, the President of the world-wide twin-organizations, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission.
The highlights of the inaugural programme, planned over two days, are given below, followed by the Invitation-cum-programme for download and online viewing.
Day 1 – 1st August 2026:
1. Afternoon 3:30 – 4:10 pm: inauguration of ‘Swami Vivekananda Cultural Youth Centre – Viveka Smaraka‘ by the Hon. Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi ji in the holy presence and with the blessings of param-pujya Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji,
2. Afternoon 4:25 -5:20 pm: General Assembly at the open stadium of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala: Benedictory address by param-pujya Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji, address by the Chief Guest Hon. Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi ji, Guests of Honour: Hon. Governor of Karnataka Sri Chand Gehlot and Hon. Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri D K Shivakumar,
3. Evening 7 – 8:50 pm: programme at Viveka Smaraka ‘Smruti Samsmarana‘: Holy Presence Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Math, Sutturu, and Chief Guest Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah,

IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. Due to security protocol, there will be no public entry to Viveka Smaraka during the Prime Minister’s visit.
2. Entry to the General Assembly at the Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala Stadium is by valid pass only. Please collect the pass at Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru between 10 am & 5 pm on 28th, 29th & 30th July and be seated at the Stadium before 2.30 pm on 1st August 2026.
3. All are welcome to attend all the other programmes at Viveka Smaraka.

3. 1st session: 9.30 am – 1.00 pm: programme ‘Viveka Smaraka – Kruthajnata Samarpana’: Holy Presence Jagadguru Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math and Chief Guest Sri H K Patil, MLA, Gadag Constituency,
